FREE Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation Course


This introductory class is a great entry point into the world of meditation if you’re battling fear, anxiety, stress or depression, having a hard time focusing, seeking spiritual growth, or simply want to feel better and be more present in your everyday life.


This class teaches the basics of establishing a mindfulness meditation practice that can help and support you. You’ll learn how to quiet your mind, get your ego in check, and live a more fully present life.


Class Description


This Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation class offers step-by-step guidance for developing a personal practice using meditation in a clear and straightforward way.


This comprehensive meditation course includes 4 online bi-weekly class sessions and an optional Day Retreat for a total of 10 hours of instruction.


This course will provide you with:


~ A complete overview of the practice of mindfulness meditation.

~ Instruction in the fundamental meditation techniques

~ Study of the spiritual and psychological foundations of the meditative practice

~ Support for developing a satisfying personal meditation practice

~ Guidance for applying meditative wisdom in daily life.


Location


Bi-weekly classes will be held on Zoom.



Day Retreat will be held at Gaia Wellness Retreat which is located 15 minutes north of Wakefield, Quebec in a breathtaking oasis located in the heart of the Gatineau Hills. Situated on a semi-private lake, with a modernly built main lodge and 3 mini cabins, think luxury meets rustic. This fully equipped retreat with private accommodations and group spaces, a full yoga studio and a wood-burning sauna is a space designed to slow your breath and bring you home to the present moment.


Organic Meals


All meals are Ovo- Lacto Vegetarian and we are more than happy to accommodate any other dietary restrictions such as vegan or gluten free.

Cost: This course is being offered FREE to anyone who can benefit.

A $50 fee will be required to register for the Day Retreat. This covers meals and snacks.
